Folklore, a digital brand experience company, has added Robert Dickson as a senior user experience (UX) designer. He will be working to enhance the already strong UX design capabilities of Folklore and to build great digital experiences for their clients. Dickson began his role with Folklore on Monday, Oct. 31.

"At Folklore, we are continually focused on building on our best-in-class experience design team," says Mike Matheny, Folklore CEO. "Robert was a natural fit. He has incredible experience bridging UX and UI design solutions that work hand in hand to solve client needs. We are excited to have him aboard."

That experience bridging UX and User Interface (UI) design solutions has led Dickson to work with clients such as Best Buy, Target, Disney, 3M, and Abercrombie & Fitch. In his previous role as an experience designer at Periscope, he worked to discover new digital capabilities, mentor other UX professionals, lead internal research and workshop efforts, and fortify the UX team. This depth of knowledge and experience will help Folklore strengthen its UX capabilities and reinforce its mission to create innovative digital experiences for its clients.

"My overall goal is to help improve people's lives in any way I can through better understanding and experiences," says Dickson.

Dickson received his bachelor of fine arts degree in illustration from the College of Visual Arts in Minneapolis, Minn.
