NEW DELHI – Today, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo met with Indian National Security Advisor (NSA) to the Prime Minister Ajit Doval to discuss the U.S.-India commercial relationship and opportunities to deepen linkages between our economies. They concurred on the importance of the inaugural meeting of the U.S.-India initiative on Critical and Emerging Technology. Secretary Raimondo and NSA Doval also discussed the upcoming U.S.-India CEO Forum and U.S.-India Commercial Dialogue meetings, which will help facilitate increased cooperation between our governments and business communities across a variety of sectors. The two also discussed the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) and the opportunities it presents to deepen regional economic integration and enhance individual and collective economic competitiveness.
