Today, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Commerce Don Graves met with Swedish Minister for International Cooperation and Foreign Trade Johan Forssell to discuss Sweden’s hosting of the fourth U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) Ministerial meeting in May and the two countries’ continued support for Ukraine. The Deputy Secretary said Secretary Gina Raimondo is looking forward to attending the upcoming Ministerial and he stressed that the United States and the EU are committed to continue delivering concrete results to citizens on both sides of the Atlantic. Deputy Secretary Graves also highlighted that the Commerce Department is hosting the 2023 SelectUSA Investment Summit from May 1-4, and looks forward to Sweden’s attendance at the Summit.
